J.J. Maher Photography
Jason Maher, who's that?
About Me:
I began studying photography in high school. My main interest then was in the dark room and experimenting with different ways of developing photographic prints.

This further led to my interest in digital manipulation and image editing. Soon after I got myself a camera and now I am rarely without it.
Specialities:
Interested in working in all genres from glamour and portraiture to landscape/nature photography, still life to event photography so as to develop my skills as an artist. I am working hard to build a name for myself in the industry and to get experience as part of it.

I push myself very hard and maintain extremely high standards for my work.
Influences:
Promiment photographic influences include Ansell Adams, Max Dupain and Jean Baptiste Mondino. As an artist, I am influenced heavily by Salvidor Dali, Vincent Van Gogh and Norman Linsday and constantly seek opportunities to incorporate elements and ideas of their work in my own projects as homage to their talents and to develop my own artistic flavour.

"The quicksands of automatism and dreams vanish upon awakening, but the rocks of the imagination still remain."
- Salvidor Dali

"There are no rules for good photographs, there are only good photographs."
- Ansel Adams
Other Info:
Music is my other passion, I enjoy it all from Acid Jazz to Acrid Death Metal. I play the guitar.
